Dr. Guy Meadows (PhD) - Teaches people how to get a good night of natural sleep on a regular basis without the use of medication. I believe that everyone has the capability to sleep well; however as we start to become anxious, angry or frustrated about sleep we inadvertently get in the way of our bodies natural ability to sleep. Plus the more we want, try or force ourselves to sleep the further sleep goes away. My programme works by learning how to stop struggling with your insomnia and re-training the body how to sleep again. To do this I use my own therapy called Mindful Sleep Therapy which combines a number of techniques including mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy approaches. Basically you learn to free yourself from your insomnia by stopping fighting your insomnia.
This 1.5 hour free sleep class will give you the chance to understand your sleep and what you can do to actually improve it without the use of drugs.If you are thinking of doing any of Guy’s successful insomnia prevention plans then it will be a great time to meet him in person and ask any questions about the programme.Free Classes in 2010

Venue:
Gracelands Yard, 102 Liddell Gardens, London, NW10 3QE. Nearest Tube - Kensal Green (Bakerloo Line - 10 min walk) or Kensal Rise Railway station). The classes start at 7pm and is limited to 16 people so (reserve your place NOW).

Your name has been placed onto a secure register and two weeks before the next available class you will be emailed. Booking is now done on a first come first served basis to promote fairness and maximise numbers. We have decided to change the free class booking in this way because reserving people months in advance resulted in a very low attendance meaning that the people who really need the class missed out.
