What is your success rate?

Are you a medical doctor and can you prescribe sleeping pills?
I am not a medical doctor and cannot prescribe sleeping medication. I am a physiologist, with a doctorate (PhD) from Imperial College, London. I spent three and half years working within the National Heart and Lung Institute in the sleep research laboratories of the Royal Brompton and Charing Cross hospitals. My PhD investigated the regulation of brain blood flow during wakefulness and sleep in patients with sleep apnoea. I have been working and researching within sleep for seven years.
Are you a qualified psychologist or psychiatrist?
I am not a qualified psychologist or a psychiatrist. I am a physiologist, with a doctorate (PhD) from Imperial College, London. I have a diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from John Seymour Associates and University of West of England. I have also attended a training course in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy at Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.
Am I the only one who suffers from this?
No you are not alone chronic insomnia affects up to 15% of the UK population and targets no specific group. My clients range from teenagers, new mothers, executives, retirees to professional athletes and come from all ethnic backgrounds and of all ages.
Is my sleeping going to get worse before it gets better?
In some cases withdrawing from sleeping medication can cause your Insomnia to worsen for a few days. However the plan aims to limit this effect by providing you with the tools and knowledge to achieve good quality natural sleep.
Do I need to set aside 6 weeks of my life to do your programme?
The plan involves 6 sessions with each session separated by one week or more depending on the progress of the client. The average total duration that the 6 sessions are delivered over is 10 weeks. If for some reason you cannot make a week because you are on holiday or away on business then we simply pick up where we left off the following week. Obviously we ask people to be mindful of the course whilst they are away and continue with the exercises that have been set.
When can I come to see you if I work during the day?
Our appointments run from 8am till 8pm to accommodate working people. The sessions are performed face to face at our West London clinic or over the phone.
